Finding Our Voices: ‘What love is and what love is not’ community art
What love is and what love is not, as expressed by Midcoast Maine K-12 students, is papering Camden, Rockport, Rockland, and Thomaston through the month of June in the Finding Our Voices community-wide Love/not Love exhibit.
Fifty students, aged four to 18, are opening eyes, minds and hearts to the topic through sculpture, anime, painting, drawing, collage, poetry and a comic strip. Partners are Riley School, The Landing Place, Camden Hills Regional High School, South School after-school program, the Penobscot Bay YMCA, Children’s House Montessori, Thomaston, and Camden public libraries, Sweetland School and Hope School.
