Finding Our Voices has these two pillars, toward ending domestic abuse in Maine and making life safer for women and children and empowering them to cross over from survivor to thriver.
1) Educate all including students about what is love and what is not love, including erasing harmful stereotypes and misplaced shame, and sounding an alert about the public health emergency of domestic abuse in Maine.
2) Provide critical and meaningful resources for Maine women being physically and/or emotionally terrorized by intimate partners, to get out and stay out and rebuild their lives and provide stability for their children.
