2026 School Tour

Finding Our Voices is bringing a bold new program to Maine classrooms in 2026 that includes a young person sharing their personal story of dating abuse and a project where students explore unhealthy dating behaviors through relationships of pop culture couples. Please contact us here if you can help bring us to a school in YOUR town in 2026.

What students are saying about our classroom visits!

This program is so wonderful!!

It was eye opening and powerful

I liked that it was interactive and you got to step into someone else’s shoes

What students are saying they learned about domestic abuse:

It can be disguised as love.

It can be invisible

there are no age limits

It isn’t just in romantic relationships, it can be family members as well.

There are many kinds, not just physical

It affects those around you as well.

It can start small and then catch up to you.

You can’t judge a book by its cover

If someone tells you it won’t happen again, they are gaslighting you.

Things that seem small are actually big.

It is romanticized in the media

Love at first sight is rushing it and NOT healthy.
