We are stronger and louder together. Here are some ways you can help us move the needle on domestic abuse in Maine and brighten the lives of our sister-survivors.

BEHIND THE SCENES:

  • Help plan and carry out events

  • Office work and organizational tasks

  • Lend your skills, including with graphic design and social media

  • Mobilize your professional network and know-how to get us louder in your field, i.e. medical, hairdresser, yoga, hospitality industry

  • Promote our events through social media and professional contacts

PUBLICLY:

Join our public rallies, holding up signs about what YOU want the public to know about domestic abuse

  • Help get our posters throughout the business community in one or more towns

  • Contact your local and state reps and urge them to prioritize the safety of victims (and the general public!) over perpetrators

AS A SURVIVOR:

  • Be a guest on Patrisha's Podcast that is conversations with survivors

  • Join a Finding Our Voices Survivor-Speaks panel discussion

  • Testify for DV bills flagged by Finding Our Voices based on your experience as a DV victim; be available to talk with reporters for news stories about domestic abuse
